When you register as a creator or seller, we collect your full name, display name, email address, biography, niche, social media URLs, rare craft designation if applicable, and payment information processed securely by Stripe. Spangle never stores your card details. When you join our waitlist we collect your email address only. When you visit spangled.io we automatically collect browser type, pages visited, time on page, referring source, and general geographic location via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
We use the information we collect to create and manage your profile, process your registration payment, send platform notifications and updates, match creators with seller opportunities, improve the platform, communicate about your account, and comply with legal obligations.
Spangle does not sell your personal information. We share information only with Stripe to process payments, Google Analytics to analyze usage, Supabase as our database provider, other platform participants as necessary for campaign collaboration, and when required by law.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
You may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, opt out of marketing communications, and request data portability. To exercise these rights contact shimmer@spangled.io.
Spangle uses cookies through Google Tag Manager to analyze usage and improve your experience. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, however this may affect platform functionality.
Spangle is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, contact us immediately at shimmer@spangled.io.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never stored on Spangle's servers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Registered users will be notified of material changes via email.
